The Logo Rotator cycles through logos - your streamer family, teams, sponsors,
collabs - with a crossfade (or slide, zoom, flip, spin) between them. It exports as a
StreamElements Custom widget, so it lives in your cloud overlay and works from any
computer you stream on.
Adding logos
Upload images… picks files from this computer. Each one is shrunk to at most
512 px on its long side and embedded directly in the widget's HTML - nothing is uploaded
anywhere, and the streaming PC needs no access to the file. Add by URL takes a
direct image link instead (the link must open the bare image - i.imgur.com/….png works;
Discord attachment links expire and quietly break).
Best source: a transparent PNG or SVG, square-ish, at least 300 px. Transparent
logos look right on every frame style; JPEGs come with their own background box.
Keep it to a dozen logos or so - each embedded image adds to the HTML you paste.
Logos rarely arrive the same size - one has a thick padding, another fills its file
edge to edge. The global Logo size slider sets the box every logo may fill;
each logo's ⚙ panel then has This logo's size (25–250%) to enlarge a
padded one or shrink an oversized one until they look matched.
Putting it in StreamElements
1) In the StreamElements overlay editor click + (Add Widget) → STATIC / CUSTOM →
Custom widget.
2) Select the new widget → left panel → OPEN EDITOR.
3) In each of the HTML, CSS and JS tabs: select all, delete StreamElements' sample,
paste the box with the same name. In FIELDS: paste our FIELDS box if
“Tweakable in StreamElements” is on; otherwise clear it to {}.
4) Click DONE, then SAVE the overlay (top right).
5) Drag and resize the widget box. The logos scale to the box, so the box size
is the logo size - a square box in a corner is the classic placement. Use the
preview's Box selector to try sizes first.
“Tweakable in StreamElements”
With the FIELDS tab pasted, each logo becomes an upload slot in the StreamElements panel
(StreamElements hosts the file), and timing, captions and colors become sliders and
pickers. You can swap a family logo from the StreamElements dashboard without re-pasting anything.
Logos uploaded here in the studio still show until you replace them in StreamElements - a slot left
empty in StreamElements is simply skipped.
Timing
Seconds per logo is the dwell; the transition happens at the start of each
logo's turn and overlaps the previous one (that's what makes a crossfade a crossfade).
Blank between logos and Pause per round add empty time, for a rotator
that is present without dominating. Each logo's ⚙ button can give it its own
dwell time. Shuffle re-orders every round (deterministically, so a browser source
that OBS paused resyncs to the same order).
OBS tips
Keep the browser source's “Shutdown source when not visible” OFF -
hidden scenes throttle JS timers; the rotator resyncs when shown, but shutdown resets
it entirely. The Custom widget lives in your StreamElements overlay, so nothing extra is added
to OBS.
